After the Soba noodles render two friends suggested me this traditional dish from our country, Italy. So here it is, I hope you like it. Buon appetito!
Render Info:
I used Geometry nodes for all the pasta in the scene, in particular for the nest, I used another node group, Curve Deform, from Erindale Toolkit. Geometry Nodes used also for the tomato sauce, guanciale pieces and pecorino cheese using a Shrinkwrap node group.
For the deep plate and the fork models I used Ikea products as reference. The tomatoes models are based on San Marzano tomatoes, an italian variety of plum tomato, ideal for sauces.
Last detail, I added a smoke image using Gimp.
Dish Info:
Bucatini is a thick spaghetti-like pasta with a hole running through the center. It is common throughout Lazio, particularly Rome.
One of the most common sauces to serve with bucatini is the Amatriciana sauce. It is a traditional Italian pasta sauce based on guanciale (cured pork cheek), pecorino romano cheese and tomato. Originating from the town of Amatrice, the Amatriciana is one of the best known pasta sauces in present-day Roman and Italian cuisine.
While in Amatrice the dish is prepared with spaghetti, the use of bucatini has become extremely common in Rome.
